Possessing the Promise Land!!!
We have great news!!! We have signed the contract on the land and are now living in
the house. Praise the Lord!!!
We are so excited to finally have our feet firmly on this land. After all negotiations, we
ended up with approximately five and a half acres of land, plus a two and a half story,
5 bedroom, 3 bath house with two dining areas, one formal and one informal. The
living area is huge with a wonderful fireplace that we are enjoying each evening.
Temperatures at night are dipping into the upper 20's at times and with no other heat
in the house, it gets into the 50's in the house. We thank God for a fireplace.
Our contract is a 2 year contract...rent/buy with exclusive rights to buy the property. It
is not being offered for sale to outside parties. When we first saw the property, the
price was around $200,000 but that was nearly 2 years ago and land prices have
soared since that time. The current asking price is $360,000 but we know that with
cash in hand we can get it for considerably less. We are shooting for $300,000 or a
little less. We are believing to buy within 1 year and actually believe we can purchase
the property before the end of this year. Our God is a BIG God and there is nothing
impossible for Him. We've seen him working with us on this project since the very
beginning. We've seen Him give us favor with the current owners. We've seen him
open doors and give us opportunities that only HE could do.
We ask that you please pray about being a part of this. Many of you have sown, and
we are very grateful for your seed sown. Believe with us for the money for the 1st two
phases of this project to come in as soon as possible. That's a total of $500,000.

We are now planting the land so it will produce a big harvest for us in 2010. So far
we've planted over 350 lbs of seed potatoes and going to be planting another 400 lbs
next week. We've also got corn planted and alfalfa. We have rabbits already and will
be buying 100 female guinea pigs very soon. 100 females and 10 males will bring in
around $400 a month to our ministry. In case you did not know, guinea pig or cuy, as
it is known here, is a very popular dish. They are raised and eaten by the thousands
here in Peru.
